When I was in middle school, me and a girl in my class I'd befriended swapped a few experimental kisses (without tongue) during a visit to her place. It was rather embarrassing at the time. I recall actually trying to hide in her closet, awkward teenager that I was. But I'd be lying if I said it wasn't nice.
