Some figures worth knowing: Like almost every medication, Viagra is not always 100% successful. It is successful in inducing erection in 80-90% of men with moderate erectile dysfunction (minimal vascular/circulatory problems) and only 30-40% in men with severe erectile dysfunction (significant vascular/circulatory problems, hormone deficiency, etc.). It has been noted to be more effective in conjunction with testosterone, and to work better in those with higher testosterone. (In fact, there are a growing number of studies indicating that ED is not as "psychological" in origin as once thought. Young men [30s & under] with persistent ED often have testosterone levels in the bottom tertile of the reference range for testosterone yet slightly above the threshold for hypogonadism.) Injectable erection inducing meds have a better success rate but carry their own complications, side effects, & costs.
That isn't to say viagra or another ED med simply won't work for a tgirl with low testosterone for whatever reason. It is only to make it clear that one shouldn't gamble on an assumption that things will work for you. You may still get hard, you may not. YMMV. The safest course is to decide what you value, plan how you might handle a situation like ED, and find out as much as you can until you feel comfortable with the decision.
