Surly they would feel safe here among friends, mabey their afraid of being swamped with love sick shecock crazed guys (could be guilty of that:D

i can understand then feeling they have to hide in the outside world because there is a lot of hatred for minorities of all types out there, lets face it gay people had a very hard time and were shunned for a very long time before they have become accepted, even now there is still a lot of homophobic people in this world, i think it will be a very long time before such a small and "unusual" minority ever get excepted into the mainstream.
