Your Location in your profile
 

It's just a thought, but why don't the majority of folks here put their general location in their profiles or a bit more about themselves, likes, dislikes, wants etc?

Just curious, that's all.

Bwarhahaha! Good one! Of course, I'd wager it's also a personal security thing? I mean, having people look you up is all well and good if they're well-meaning, but not everyone's all rainbows and unicorns and such. There could be those who mean harm, and I don't just mean the extremist LGBT-hater sorts.

It's probably because as soon as you log-in, you don't mess around with your profile, you go straight to looking at the freebees forum! Updating your profile is probably the last thing any member wants to do on this forum - well, most. IMHO

I think more then a few are posers and fakers.

Always the lady Fran is. And as always, a way with words. I'll be watching for those names,numbers and fingerprints to forward to the FBI.

Perhaps I didn't clarify what I meant. Obviously I wasn't suggesting a grid reference to you exact location...........that would be stupid.

What I was suggesting was, for example, NY area, or CT area or, in my case Essex UK. That way, if someone wanted to PM for a possible chat with someone in their own area or country, for maybe a relationship or more, at least that person would have some idea.

And yes, I appreciate the need for caution as there are some nut jobs 'out there'.

I hope this clears this obvious problem up..........I'm not that naïve :no:
