I prefer to think of it this way:

The world DID come to an end but was replaced with an almost-exact replica instantaneously. The one difference: the evangelical dumbasses who believe this shit are all gone.

(Unfortunately, they're still around. :frown:)

You, and everyone else are clearly not still here. The bible says so.

No, The Bible does not say so. One person in California said that the end of the world will begin today with the final day being October 21, 2011. Those that actually read The Bible will know that it states in there that no man will know when the end of the world will be.

TracyCoxx 05-21-2011 07:55 PM

I was being facetious. Those that believe that the end of the world was to start today do believe the bible says so.

TracyCoxx 05-23-2011 10:22 AM

Damn, I guess I still have to go to work then.

Now that his prediction turned out to be false, the idiot (sorry ... I realize calling him that is an insult to all other idiots) Harold Camping who said the world was ending on May 21 has adjusted his timetable. Saturday was, apparently, only the beginning of a 5-month spiritual period leading up to the destruction of the world on October 21.

So, for all you heathens out there, you have 5 more months to get your "houses in order." As for me, I plan to achieve heaven on earth by sucking as much girl cock and drinking as much cum as I can.

Can't they just stick this guy in a retirement home or make him take up croquet or something? This is all getting very tedious now.

Still, I see October 21 is a Friday - so hopefully I'll be able to get all glammed up and wait for the end of the world looking my best :)

Why do i get the feeling that on Oct 22 he'll have some excuss and claim another day will be the end of the world

The end of the world will never happen thanks to Boston winning the world series yes it's true cause the end of the world was supposed to happen with the REDSOXS playing the CUBS in the top of the fifth inning game seven tied 1-1 and the world ened
but thanks to the REDSOXS winning a few we are now safe

Fantastic, he's playing the ad hoc game. And when the next date comes and he's wrong again he'll make up some other excuse and then another until he dies and is remembered by the rational as another in a long series (now hundreds of years) of folks who predicted the end and got it wrong by a couple billion years.

Hey, Jen, I'm not positive, but I think you may be confusing the end of the world with hell freezing over!

He had his contingency plan in place at the same time that he released his end-of-the-world plan. He said that if this prediction doesn't come true he'll just have to go back and study his bible some more (the same as when his 1994 prediction didn't come true).

Well he did say May 21st would be the beginning of the destruction of the world and that it would take 5 months. (God can create the earth in 6 days, but it takes 5 months to destroy it?) But he did mention the october date as the end of the world before. But you're right, he'll never admit being completely wrong about this. He'll come up with another date.
