Truck with Dumper Raised Destroys Footbridge 25-Jan-10
 

A truck travelling with its dumper raised hit a pedestrian footbridge in Istanbul. Miraculously only one person was injured (on left), two others (to the right of where the lorry hit bridge) narrowly missed falling to the road.

Truck hits bridge at about 20 seconds into clip. It is repeated in close-up at 1min 20 secs.

If that person on the left had not stopped(could have been looking down and not seen the truck coming) when they did, there most likely would have been a fatality. I cannot believe how idiotic that driver was! I don't know what the laws are like over there, so I can only imagine what sort of punishment/jail time the driver could be looking at.:eek:
