Do we have enough willing members here to make a "Gurls of transladyboy" calendar? Would it be successful? How many would buy one?
It would allow tasteful, flattering pictures of several of us (Like Bionca, Fran, Jen, etc.) to be published in a way we control for anyone who wanted to buy. We could give any proceeds from sales of one to one of the many transgender support group charities out there, too.

I think your intentions and ultimate goal is fantastic, but I'm not sure a PRINTED calendar to sell is really the way to go. And I say that based on my past in publishing. The problem isn't the photography, as someone noted above. You wouldn't necessarily need to have the SAME photographer travel to see each of you. Instead, no matter where you lived, you could simply arrange to have your photos taken and then sent to someone who would assemble the calendar, and in turn would send those final files off to the printer.
But that's the REAL cost -- printing it wouldn't necessarily be cheap, and keep in mind there's shipping costs to have the final calendars delivered to you in bulk, followed by the costs of mailing them out to whoever bought them. All of THAT is what will add up very quickly.
Instead, I would suggest you do the same idea, but as a web site. Different host companies are even offering free space these days (so you have no cost there), and then you could set up a paypal system (again which wouldn't cost you anything) where people would pay the equivalent OF buying the calendar to access the site and to be able to download the calendar photos. Plus, if you ran it that way, across the course of several months or the year, you could update the site with more new photos and charge a new fee all over again -- and thus you'd be continually making money for your chosen charity.
Anyway, just a thought...
