Is that Justin Bieber? Is it wrong to hope that after he's lured into the van he has his vocal chords severed?

It is indeed Justin Bieber. No it is not wrong to hope for that. It proves you are human. ;)

Hardly. It only proves I have ears. Both of my cats expressed the same hope when they saw your post.

Our very own ila seems to have found a second career as a television commercial actor. (I saw this on American TV this afternoon.)

In this clip, he thanks a suburban car owner for his eco-friendly choice.

Congratulations, ila. I look forward to seeing your next advertisement.

That was the edited version. The next scene was left out. The bear hug was only to check for tenderness.

That's odd. He doesn't look to me like your type. ;) Even if you do mean "tenderness" of the "meat."

Awesome!

Perhaps you are familiar with some of Clint Eastwood's other relevant films over his long career:

A Fistful of Incense (1964)

The Good, The Bad, and The Rama Rama (1966)

A Perfect OneWorld (1993)

In the Line of ... Other Guys with Shaved Heads and Salmon-Colored Robes (1993)

Mystic River (2003)

(The last one required no name alteration!)

dauls, my friend, I am not above admitting when I've been bested. As proud as I am of "A Fistful of Incense," "Paint Your Forehead" is the best of the bunch. :respect:

Elephant vs Crocodile

4 Attachment(s)
Zambia's South Luangwa National Park
An elephant was drinking from the River Luangwa when a crocodile leapt out of the water and grabbed her trunk.
The elephant was brought to her knees in a tug-of-war with the thrashing crocodile.
Once the elephant regained her footing, she dragged the crocodile out of the river before the crocodile let go.
The baby elephant then tripped over the crocodile as the elephants tried to run away.

Later in the day the elephants were seen drinking from the same river.

Those are amazing pictures, dauls! I would not want to drive over the water when it is rough like in the last couple of pictures, but any other time it would be an interesting trek(better for the passengers, as they would be able to pay more attention to the scenery than the driver).

That other road looks to be quite narrow. I think I would rather ride my bicycle there than risk driving around on a car.;)
