Oh my God it's been so cold in the UK for the last 4 weeks!
We are usually quite lucky with our Winter weather, meaning it doesn't get too cold, maybe 2/3C, but the last few weeks, the night time temperature has dropped to around minus 12C.

I just don't feel like getting all girly in my outfits, I love my stockings, short skirts and heels. These days I'm wearing big jumpers and dressing gowns to keep out the cold!

What would you do to make me feel better and warm me up?

Give you a nice warm blanket and a cup of hot cocoa and then place some logs in the fireplace?:)

In SW Ontario(at least in the city I live in) it has been fairly decent the past week(we had some nasty -12 to -15 weather a while back), and it is supposed to go up to between 7-9 degrees around the 24th of January(plus we are supposed to get some rain!). I do not like the cold, so I will like it if the weather remains somewhat warm for the rest of Winter.

Thank you Shadows, you've made me feel warm just thinking about the log fire and the hot drink.

Yeah, hot chocolate and a fire sound good, but baby, it would be awfully difficult not to play around and work on generating some serious body heat and maybe get some nice, warm bodily fluids flowing.

Think its cold there think how we must feel up here in south eastern new england. pass couple of weeks the temps hardly got out of the 20's
we got nailed with a monster blizzard a couple weeks ago also with 3 feet of
snow. i felt like that boy who got his tounge stuck on a iron pole in that movie
well its a balmy 45 right now but more snow for tonight north of boston
close to a foot there just think groundhog day is just around the corner
but more cold stuff on the way tho.

I'm looking at the sky out the window, just about 45 miles north of you in the west suburbs of Boston, and it's ominous. The temperature is dropping again and it looks like the precipitation will be here soon.

Fortunately, I know ways to warm myself up.

You'll have to excuse me if I don't feel any sympathy. Just over a week ago the temperature here was -35C and with the windchill it was -46C. The day before was only one degree warmer. It has since warmed up here to around the freezing point, but that is very unusual. All through December the temperature was around -35C at night and warming up to a balmy -25 to -30C during the day. I have no doubt that the temperature will plummet again soon and we will be back to the deep freeze that is our normal winter.
