How can a T-girl make a living?

I ask this question because here in southern South America their only option is prostitution, and I´m sure that more than one would like to do something else. Are there other options in other countries?

The thing is that nobody here woud hire a Tgirl as a shop assistant, in an office or in a stand in an exhibition, jobs that I´m sure they could do just as well or even better than GG´s. Only a couple have nade it to showbiz, but then again, with the help of some influential boyfriend.

I don't think a shop assistant, and office girl or an "exhibition stand" are particular jobs that a girl should attain to :frown:.

I know tgirls who work in banks, make-up artists, video editors, store managers, restaurant managers, welders, traffic wardens (now they must take some stick!), club promoters, systems/server specialists, real estate, etc. It's probably harder for them and it would depend on the part of the company, but it's possible.

I guess it is a matter of culture. In this part of the world the Catholic influence is very strong. I need not say more, right?

Here, any job (Provided you don't get an interviewer who has a problem, but many businesses are eager to fill their "diversity quota" to appear politically correct). I can't speak for the rest of the world though...
