I'm a big Gundam fan. Before, I was into DBZ. In the past few years, I've become interested in Evangelion and Inuyasha, but mostly through fan fiction.
Shemale hentai comes to mind...

I like some, but i prefer the old school animes(zillion, macross, hokuto no ken, dirty pair). I am not an old guy(twenty and some), but the last animes don't have any appeal at all... for me.

I like anime too. But what really appeals to me are Goth and Japanese style. After all anime is about art and art fills my soul with bliss and new possibilities.

Hmm is it a trend i see that shemale lovers are also anime lovers, I too really love anime, I really like Ghost in the Shell, and Eureka 7 is one of my all time faves. And of course the Miyazaki anime moviesa are always good. Never looked at shemale hentai porn though I prefer real girls, the artwork is cool though, just rather get off to the real thing.

Anime is terrific. I love it just because the Japanese have a truly fantastic sense of production design and story execution. Of course that said, business is still business -- so it still depends on what property you're talking about or which production studio was involved. Like anything else, you have some studios producing higher end, artistic things...but then you have just as many studios overseas cranking out product to meet a lowest common denominator sales point. So I guess some things really are universal no matter what country you're doing business in!

As for the names tossed out on this thread, what, no love for AKIRA?

Akira was the first Anime I ever saw! I still love it, it's so wonderfully bizarre. My absolute favorite anime is a series called Wolf's Rain. It's beatifully animated, though it's very dark (particularly towards the end)

New guy here on the board. Did a search for "anime", and althought this thread is a bit dusty, I just wanted to put my two cents in...

I'm a long time anime fan. Some of my favorites are Shōjo Kakumei Utena (Revolutionary Girl Utena), Ghost in the Shell (movies and TV), Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Escaflowne, Code Geass and pretty much anything by CLAMP, especially the X TV series (not so much the movie). Also recently enjoyed Macross Frontier. First "real" anime I ever saw was Ranma 1/2. Should have guessed I was into Tgirls from that... :D

Love to resurrect some anime discussion. Anyone else game?

What's the difference between a king and his horse?
I don't mean kiddy shit like "One's a person and one's an animal" or "One has two legs and one has four."
If their form, ability and power were exactly the same, why is it one becomes the king and controls the battle, while the other becomes the horse and carries the king?!
There's only one answer. INSTINCT!

-Shirosaki Ichigo, Bleach

Hi there.

I think one's an ass the other just looks like one.

I know i'm repeating myself but i wanted you to see my ansewer.

I love animé and have seen heaps. Saw all of Fullmetal Alchemist and can't wait to see the edited version, with the new ending as the current ending kinda sucks. Am currently watching Gurren Lagann, which is pretty awesome so far. Am also into Bleach, waiting on my friend to get the second (or is it third?) box set. I'm also tempted to get into Godannar, as I saw a preview of it and it looks totally crazy and awesome :p

Anime rocks!

I've got a few series on DVD, and some that I have rented/watched over the years.

One of the biggest sets I own is Robotech:Complete Collection. It is 14 DVDs spanning 85 episodes. It includes The Macross Saga, The Masters, and New Generation. Kick ass!:)

I loved Akira. I very dark story, which made it all the more enjoyable. I find a lot of Anime stories to be dark in tone and ones in which the "good guys" don't always win(or even survive!).

I also have Blood: The Last Vampire, Ghost In The Shell, Aeon Flux, Neon Genesis EvanGelion, Metropolis, Spirited Away.

I also have La Blue Girl 1 & 2, which is for adult audiences only.;)

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Fushigi Yuugi or Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu. Both are really great. I've got all 52 episodes of FY on my external HDD and all 12/13 episodes of FMP?F on CD. I also have, but haven't yet watched, 3 OVAs of Fushigi Yuugi. Will hopefully get around to them at some point!
