Silicone injections that kill Tgirls?

I recently came across a page that said that Kelly Taveres and Claudia Lins have both died recently from complications due to silicone injections.

Is this true, and what the hell are these silicone injections? Are they done by reputable medical people? Somebody want to fill me in on this?

From my understanding, Silicone is directly injected into certain areas of the body to enlarge them and it is globs of the stuff rather than a prepackaged component like fake boobies. I've heard that it can break up and can enter the blood stream and is extremely hard to remove since it is not one single piece but pieces. I would not be surprised if the cause of death was a heart attack or an aneurism since globs of silicone floating around in your body is probably not the best thing for someone.

Postman is right. It is silicone directly injected into the body (face, butt, hips). One can die from an auto-immune reaction to it almost immediately. However there is also the danger that over time, the silicone will break up into clumps and migrate down the body. If the passes through anything important, it can result in serious complications or death.

Thanks for the info. I visited some of the sites - very disturbing! I can understand someone doing this, but to risk allowing a non-certified person to do it with industrial silicone seems very foolhardy. Kind of like "silicone Russian Roulette"??
