Hi there.

Transformers 2...

Better than the first.

Funny thing, the gutsyest people in the movie are also the youngest characters, Megan's char captures and "enslaves" the "mini" decepticon assigned to spy on her, and her boyfriend (god i'm bad with names) who risks all to save Optimus Prime at any and all costs, selflessly risking life and limb again and again.

Hi there.

IronMan (1)

Favorite movie of the last few years, though transformers 2 and GI Joe are close.

Good story, good characters, they stuc to it's comic book debut while updating the plot, usually i'm not too keen of Robert Downey Jr. but i loved him as Tony Stark / IronMan, he starts as an genious industrialist that doesn't know or doesn't want to realize that weapons kill people, and gets a rude awakening to that fact and that his weapons are being used by the BAD guys...

IronMan 2

Should be as good or better than the first, the chars are defined and developped, new vilains will crop up and probably gove Tony/IronMan a run for his money and the possibility of a mark 4 suit.

Hi there.

Also saw Ice Age 3, was better than the first 2, kinda reminded me of Jurassic Park 3, without being a parody of it.

Hi there.

Saw "Equilibrium" 2002 with Christian Bale, GREAT movie, it is close to the year 2100, and post world war 3, the governement surmized that humanity could not survive a fourth world war, and to that end has put humanity on a emotion neutralizing drug, but there is resistance, the inforcers of the goverment which is a patriarchy, are known as Grammaton Clerics which are extreme elite combat specialist versed in all types of combat, hand to hand, swords, hand guns, rifles, Christian Bale's character is the best of the best but one day he breaks his dose of emotion newtralizing drug and he starts to question his purpose and the patriarchy...

Fantastic movie.

Hi there.

Saw "There will be blood", there was some blood but i expected that there would be a big confrontation between the main character and some big company, well guess what, it the story of an oil man that drills for oil and goes nuts and kills 2 people and goes from asshole'ish to full blown asshole, that's it.

What a waist of, well everything related to this movie, my time the DVD etc.

Hi there.

Got Unforgiven, with Clint Eastwood, liked it again, but it reminded me that women can be real bitches sometimes, the unforgiven are 2 men that mis-treated a saloon girl, and only got "slapped on the wrist" the girls place a bounty on the two guys, and soon enough, all hell breaks loose.

You only find out who are the unforgiven are, about 2/3 into the movie, but what leads up to it is very entertaining, and afterwards too.

If you like Clint, and westers you will like it.

Hi there.

Got the X-Men Origins: Wolverine on DVD, but not Blu-Ray, it was as good as i remembered, good well developped characters, good story, and fills all the blanks between the birth and "re-creation" of wolverine and why he has memory problems, and how many of the younger mutants are at prof exavier's school.

Glad to see another film fan on the forum.

The last movie I saw in theaters was Rob Zombie's Halloween II. Now I don't really feel like writing a review for it right now, but I will say that I loved it. Rob Zombie is my favorite director and 2007's Halloween is one of my favorite movies so I knew this one wouldn't disappoint.

Hi there.

Saw "Blonde Ambission" with Jessica Sinpson, (her brother Bart and sisters Lisa and Maggie were not in the movie JOKE), but it was the over done "ditsy chick saves the day movie" she starts off with a boyfreind that moves to NY to be a model and she goes to see him on Valentine's day, to find him in bed, with someone else, i was sure he wasn't alone, but a male model, i figured he was in bed with a guy, but no, he was with a (female) model, then she had to fill in for her friend that had moved to NY and, "gets" a job as an executive secretary...

Cute, but it's been done and done and done, if you're a fan of Jessica you'll like, but it an otherwise forgetable movie, and yet look how much i wrote about it.

Just saw it tonight. Was kinda dissappointed though. Too short and the plot seemed a bit like it was hurried through. However, Tim Daly and Kevin Conroy are still making it shine as the voices of Superman and Batman respectively. Overall I'd say it was "meh". Could have been better but not entirely lackluster. I think DC did a better job with the Green Lantern movie though.

Hi there.

I saw Freedom Writers, which made me change my obkectives about my "Feared or Respected" thread, great movie, in a multi racial school a teacher makes a BIG difference in the lives of her students, definately worth the rental even at 10 times the price.
