I'm back after a natural disaster

Hi to all my friends. My home was crushed by a 100 yr old tree. I got my grandmother out but was hit by a limb and falling debris. I blacked out and woke up in the hospital on sunday morning ( it all happened on thursday night) They shaved my head and stitched up a deep scalp laceration. I've been at my cousins and they had no internet! I hope to get my home fixed and catch up w/ you all, bye for now.

Sorry to hear about your cat, I have a cat also and i'd hate like hell to lose him, I call him my little buddy, Hopefully he just got scared and he'll return hopefully he has a name tag or chip in his ear so if found they can get ahold of you to return him, Salem yes that's my cat's name has both a tag and chip :yes: Jennifer

unfortunately my cat didn't have a tag or chip , she was always an indoor cat. When we ran out she ran away too. :( Sugarfoot is her name, she's a tuxedo cat. I hope she comes home. :(

What was it, a storm? tornado?...
I think your cat will come back. From experience, I find they usually find a safe place to hide pretty close by but won't come out for 2 or 3 days...until they think its safe again. Then, hopefully it will be hungry and will find its way back home again.

UPDATE my cat is home! Sugarfoot has come home. She was down the street at a neighbors house w/ his cat. She was so happy that she jumped in my arms! :)

Haven't read many of your posts to date, but it sounds as though you've had a rough time of it. Glad all three of you are OK though. Shows a thick skull pays off !! Either that or run on 8 or 9 lives. Watch your Gran carefully though. Shock can be delayed especially in the elderly.

Hope everything was insured. At least you won't lack for firewood ! ! ( WHAT satisfaction ), or take up wood whittling as a new passtime !

I think i impressed her w/ my heroism in getting my Grams to safety and surviving falling debris. Also whaj woman doesn't appreciate a man who takes care of his elders, is responsible and is devoted to her. I think she is so gorgeous and peppy.
