How could i forget Knight Rider (original) and Magnum P.I. ! And the theme to Charmed ... even though they "borrowed" it from "The Craft" a movie about a coven of high school witches hmmm interesting.

:D How can you remember most of those TJ? Do you have the DVD's?
I know "Josie and the Pussycats" theme song, vaguely recall "Greatest American Hero" (William Katz?), and the "A-Team" is back in syndication, but most of the others....I might know the show, but not the theme music..

"Magnum PI" is good too RB, Mike Post I believe. Very catchy.
Actually yes a lot on my list i have on DVD well ok some are my boyfriends and the others are on youtube like capt scarlet end theme which has lyrics and killer artwork and Hardcastle and McCORMICK but i believe every thing on my list is on youtube :yes: Jennifer

Oh yes, how about "The Flintstones"? It was prime-time like the Simpsons, and had a pretty rockin intro.... Have you heard the original theme song?
I just heard it the other day, and also "I Dream of Jeannie" had different theme music originally. Not as good as the classic theme.

I forgot about Miami Vice, great theme there too

Lots of good music in the episodes as well. I am glad that the music was left intact for the DVD sets. Too many shows have the episodes either cut or have the music replaced with generic(crappy) music due to licensing issues. Pretty much all of the Stephen J Cannell shows fall into that category.

I didnt know that, thats pretty disappointing. Cannell's shows were some of my favorites.

One thing that irked me about his DVD releases is that the music replacement was rarely mentioned on the box. Instead it ends up being a not-so-nice surprise.

I guess one good thing about it is that the sets were cheap to buy.

I really want to watch that show. Unfortunately, the friend that owns it has moved. If I can find it on sale somewhere I'll pick it up.
