Everytime my guy and I get in party mood, he starts talking to me about
his fantasies. I don't mind them and actually am glad he is so open
with me however, lately he has been talking about some of the women he
works with and also some late teen/early twenty year old's he knows
socially and he goes into explicit details on what he wants to do to
them and what he'd like them to do to him.
My self esteem has taken a real dive and when I told him it bothers me
when he talks about the real people, he said he'd never do anything to
hurt me.

Is this normal and do all men tell their wives/girlfriends about women
they want to sleep with? My guy constantly fanasises about a brunette,
he said she is not a real person but it's one of his favourite
fantasies and if he was to ever meet her, he would try his best to have
me involved in a threesome or just her and I so he can watch. I am
beginning to wonder if this guy really does want to settle down....he
says he wants to marry me but I am at a loss as to why he has to be so
graphic to me about all this.

When he first told me about his fantasies, I was okay with it because it wasn't anyone we knew however, that's all changed.

Is this normal?

Not all guys are like that. Sounds like hes trying to have his cake and eat it to. I know what your feeling tho, the girl I'm with now is starting that, But in her case its girls. She talks about the girls that hit on her what she would do to them and stuff. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm a "I don't share" kinda guy.

Makes me feel like I'm not enough for her anymore, that she needs this other stuff. Why can't people just be happy and thankful with who they are with. I don't know if this helps you, but atleast you know now your not alone.

This girl I'm with now, is a ex too, this is our 3rd shot at something, it starts out great but fails fast =(

... is one of the guys who causes women to conclude, quite reasonably, that all men are pigs.

At issue here is not that he says it would never really happen, or that he would never hurt you. In fact, he has hurt you, by harming your self-esteem. Why should a man like that be rewarded with your companionship?

Fantasies are fine in relationships, so long as it is mutually acceptable to talk about or enact. The operative word here is mutually.

i understandable that this would make you upset that he thinks things like that but hes justs trying to be honest.if he feel comtherable talking to you about thoes thing than he trusts you but only time will show the how strong his convitions are. and if the turly whats to be with you.
