What is this chat window that keeps popping up? I am always afraid of websites that pop up without my request. It looks remarkably like the borders on this site.

It's just a way for the forum to pay for itself they are advertisements.

I have been with this site a couple of months but don't recall seeing that pop-up for the first several weeks. I'm sure it is what a previous poster said it was, namely a way for this (otherwise free) site to make money. Granted, it is annoying, but not as much as those on Cam 4, another free site. In short, I don't see anything sinister or underhanded behind it.

I think it's a small price to pay for the value that this Forum provides. Besides, it's not as though the pop-ups interrupt with any frequency what I'm trying to see or keyboard into my latest post.

The only pop-up that really counts with me is the one in my pants !
