Where does a guy go in Houston to meet them? Something other than a rushed hour with someone who has probably been with several others that day.

I have seen Cousins mentioned, though I have seen mixed reports as to its seediness (drugs, crowd...). I am willing to give it a shot.

The list of Transgender Friendly Clubs and Bars at TGguide doesn't list any in Houston, but does list one in Galveston (which is the closest to Houston, I suppose):
