It is sad that many of us have been victims of sexual abuse. I am wondering if that experience might have anything to do with why we are what we are. So I'm asking the question if you have a past history of sexual abuse. Please answer in the poll. I'm not asking for you to give details. I don't want you to re-live it. If you want to give an opinion of how this may have ( or not ) made you a TS or a CD you may do so by posting a reply.

Yes, I was. It possibly played a role but not the entire picture.

In my early childhood I was partially raised by some spinster aunts that lived across the street in the small village where I now live. They with my mothers approval would dress me as a girl in silky little gowns and such. I became accustomed to it and have worn silk and satin underwear ever since. I always had a latent desire and attraction to people of my persuasion and some years ago I met a transsexual and things took off from there. As my career developed I have been fortunate enough to be employed near Asia for a bit over 20 years. I spent a number of off duty time in the Philippines where I met a beautiful Transexual and we have been friends ever since. As I write this we are vacationing in Pattaya Thailand and enjoying every moment.

I'll be 100% honest, I think it's wonderful that I'm the only TS that voted yes. I thought things were worse in the big picture for our community.
