If you had a tgirl friend and were going to progress to a sexual relationship would you ask if both of you would be tested for STDs first? It's not even that a person might hide it but they might not even know. And given the consequences, I think it's appropriate. I would think its not insulting if you both do it. But I wonder if any of you would feel insulted?
