Well. Hello boys, girls and everything in between! I'm 21 years old and I'm from Norway! I really like women, but I was introduced to ladyboys by pure chance 2-3 years ago. I bought some porn DVD's online, and they sent one wrong DVD. Talk about luck ey?
Well, to the point. Me and some of my friends went to Bangkok some time ago, but none of my friends know about my "weakness" for ladyboys so I figured to just "keep it in my pants" .. You can imagine how hard that was when just across the street from out hotel, there was a "ladyboy happy ending massage" place... :(
Well, now my best friend is engaged to a great thai girl and the wedding is in 2 months, in BKK.
Well, I befriended my friends fiance on facebook, and we started talking about how common ladyboys really were... But, this was after a party, so I were.. Well.. Drunk! I told her that I liked shemales/ladyboys and her reply was "Yes! Im so happy right now" As it turns out, her best friend is a ladyboy, and she kinda likes me...
Well... the thing is.. I don't want my best friends finding out about it just yet.. And I'm thinking that the bridesmaid might be "too close to home".. At least for my first time..
What's your opinions?

Welcome to the site.
I have no opinion on your question, mostly because I truly cannot figure out what you're asking for opinions about. But I do have an opinion on the little bit of your post quoted just above. It's that you ought to take care when writing, so you don't draw a false distinction between "women" and "ladyboys." Many of our trans members here would take offense to having this distinction made. All of my transwomen friends are as much women as any woman born with a vagina.

Hmm, I don't mean to offend anyone, that's for sure..
Call it a cultrual difference?
The question is basically should I wait until I'm sure about myself and my friends or should I just start to explore and figure it out as I go along.
My English might not be the best in the world, so if I offended anyone I'm truly sorry.
This is not common in Norway, so my knowledge is limited. Google only tells me so much.. Haha

This is not a cultural difference, it is a matter of whether you choose to use respectful language that acknowledges the rights of other to determine their self-identification.

I think it is impossible for anyone to give useful, specific advice on a question such as yours without knowing the parties involved. As a general rule, though, I suggest you do what feels best and makes sense to you WITHOUT worrying about friends. If they are true friends, they will accept your decision.

To the OP:
If you are worried about your friends finding out about your LB desires - you are well and truly fucked.
Once the cat is out of the bag, its out.
Good luck, and why worry anyway? Its your life and if they are true friends, it should not really matter to them where your sexual interests lie.

Welcome,
I would say do what ever you want, but remember this LB friend of a friend is still a friend of your friends soon to be wife. so if you upset said LB then you're not only upsetting her but everyone else. be careful its like walking on glass!

I dont think you helped him at all there just started to slate him for his lack of knowledge, He referred to women as women, having female genitalia makes you female, and male genitalia makes you male, so thats what i think he was saying, some of us may have already been with a M2F LB but not know it. so technically they are female in our eyes, which they are anyway if you understand?
Been looking around the forum lately and everyone is lovely but its replies like this to foreign or non-english speaking people that its really fair. lay off him a little

I make no apology for pointing out the use of UNGENDERING language, as should no one else on this site. My post in response was hardly unfair, as you imply. I wrote:

Seriously? If that is the kind of thing that causes you to suggest that posters "lay off," then either you are hyper-sensitive or we ought to halt all discussion other than posting pictures on this site.
