:frown: Out of curiousity what are your favorite movie scenes, not necessarily favorite movies;
For example a few of mine;
1) The courtroom scene between Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men
2) The last twenty minutes of Dave
3)When Chief breaks out of the asylum in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
4)The escort boat scene in The Russians Are Coming
5)The final scene in the mini-series Chiefs where Billie Dee Williams finds the graves in Keith Carridine's yard
6) The final gunfight between Kevin Kline and Brian Dennehy in Silverado
7) Russell Crowe's final fight and speech in Gladiator
8) John Wayne's final gunfight in The Shootist, which was his last movie
9)The final scene in Mister Roberts where Jack Lemmon throws the palm tree off of the ship and yells at Jimmy Cagney
10) When Rhett Butler tells Scarlett O'Hara, "Frankly my dear I don't give a dawn!"

Some like it hot - final scene:
"I'm a man."
"Well, nobody's perfect."

Scent of a Woman
Al Pacino's speech in defense of the student.
The Devil's Advocate
Pacino's rant on God to Keanue Reeve's character.
Don't forget Pacino's little speech in the airplane about the glory of women.
If I understood correctly Pacino agreed to act in Devil's Advocate only if he was allowed to make his final glorious speech and turn it to 11.

A more recent one: I watched the new GI Joe two days ago. It's a fun and utterly insipid movie as is to be expected of American action movies. My favorite scene? The attack on the Joes which wipes out most of the team including Duke. Eliminating Channing Tatum as the main character was the single smartest thing the writers did. He's such a terrible actor.

She leaves now knowing she just turned on and mind fucked the whole foot and sock community with her special little feet made to give good foot and sock.
In Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris," Gil meets up with Adriana at a party. She tells him that the woman he was just dancing with was Djuna Barnes. Gil says, "Djuna Barnes? No wonder she wanted to lead."
Cracks me up every time.

I agree with a previous post: The Pianist, where he plays for the German officer.
Casablanca: When Rick the restauranteur asks the piano player 'Play it, Sam'
Shine: It's pouring with rain and Helfgott goes into a restaurant, sits down and plays 'the flight of the bumble bee' to the amazement of all present.
Saving Private Ryan: Opening scene
The Italian Job: Where the bus full of bullion skids and stops suspended over a cliff with the loot at the outer end. Caine says: 'I've got an idea...'
The Cincinatti Kid: McQueen's encounter with Edward G Robinson.
The Great Escape: McQueen's motorbike jump over the barbed wire fence
I'll think of lots more soon.
