and the subsequent reply from DohJeho got me thinking - does anyone else have memories of Bugis Street in Singapore?
I went back to Singas a few years ago to find that Bugis Street is now an up market restaurant area - the local bigwigs
having the belief that they should remove this 'den of iniquity'.
