After a long stint away from the transladyboy forum, I return for another try at finding a transgendered woman for a LTR in Brisbane, Australia. It's insanely hard to find any good sites these days as most are "sex" sites where people go to look for casual hook-ups. Odds are I will have no luck (yet again) on here but I figured it's worth a shot.

After reading a few of the more "current" threads on the site though I gotta say I'm kinda shocked and appalled at people's attitudes. It seems this board has degenerated into nothing but people thinking of transgendered women as sex objects rather than real people and potential relationship candidates/partners. Possibly the biggest thing that stands out is how many people call transgendered women "shemales". Yes, I know I have done so in the past out of ignorance, but trust me people that's no way to make friends. TGirls HATE the term "shemale" because it's a term of the porn industry, so calling them by that name (or tranny, ladyboy, kathoey etc) are really offensive because you're treating them as sexual objects, not people.

I know I'll probably be flamed for this thread, people saying that I'm an idiot and don't know anything etc etc, but I'm speaking the truth - if you go on youtube for example and find transgender channels, there are TONS of videos on this subject. Only the rare minority don't care, and those are the ones that are into random sexual partners anyway. Respect goes a long way.

But I digress. If anyone knows where a guy can meet a nerdy t-girl on the internet these days, hit me up with a link.

Well I know of a an extremely geeky trans girl in Sydney. I know of a few others as well. Just none in Queensland. :p

i couldnt agree more with u mate, "shemales" is such a bad term.
my gf says of all the things to call a transexual woman, shemale is the worst.

as for dating, surely you tried adultmatchmaker.
its where i met my girl.
and met about a half dozen more that were into serious ltr.
true most of them on there are escorts or cds, but you can find the rare one.

also try like dateinasia, many of the thai and philo girls come here, so maybe find a girl there you like.
and although i not on there myself, but i have heard oasis dating site (oasis active) has a lot of ts on there. a few friends of my gf are on there and they all looking for ltr.

other than internet, finding one in street or club is rare.

I've been on Adultmatchmaker before but I refuse to pay for a dating site - at least for now, because I'm an unemployed student (turning 24 this year), but I signed up again and had a look at was what was on there and they all state they like "muscly" and "manly" men. I'm fat and, while having a masculine appearance, border more on androgynous personality-wise.

I'm on Oasis already and I've searched both men and women (there's no "Transgendered" option) and the only TG I've found is a dirty skank that went to my high school before she transitioned (and I'm not being unfair - she really is quite slutty. Goes out regularly to pubs/clubs and makes out with random guys. Nearly all of her photos are of her in skanky clothes aswell).
