I'm looking for ideas on how to persuade NetFlix to add a transgender category to their GLB listings. And they just recently added the b part to that. >.<
I would of thought that sending them a comment would of worked, except there isn't that option that I've noticed. So any suggestions and backing would be appreciated. :D
Thank you,
Miranda.
P.S. We need more trans movies on NetFlix!

The Netflix site is not an easy one on which to find a way to contact the company about anything other than account problems or viewing problems. However, I did find the corporate contact page:
https://account.netflix.com/MediaCenter/ContactPR
You could also start posting comments about it on the Netflix blog:

Thank you very much SMC.
Hope I won't be the only one posting comments and contacting corporate. :)

Well I either didn't have the wits or the patients to find those links. (I think it's the latter, but you never know:P) I've been wanting to suggest it sense the bi was added. Yet they conveniently left it out of the main category. It's still only under GL. >.<
Wait... I may have already contacted corporate. If I have do you think I should comment again anyways? And if so what Organization should I say I'm with. *ponders*

Use as many email accounts as you might have to do so.
As for Organization, how about a new one:
Citizens United for Movies about Transsexuals (or CUM-Trans)
(Sorry, I couldn't help myself.)

I so loled. If netflix had porn movies I'd say use it. :p
But I'd still like a good suggestion. :p My mind isn't in the mood for making stuff up at the moment.

I actually don't think you should list an organization. Nowadays, with the Internet, anyone can pretend there is an organization behind her or him. Better to write a heartfelt appeal as an individual. Unless you have an established organization behind you, no one will think the organization listing matters. IMHO

Okay... Was just wondering because they mark it as a required entry.

I wrote "none."
I will log in again over the next few days and send more such messages, differently worded, and mark the name of my university and perhaps something else.

Probably won't help much unless you post from other computers -- they likely log your ip address ;).
Honestly, how many positive TS movies are really out there to deserve a category?

At the moment, not that many, but more are being made. It's about the ease of finding them when they are finally available.
