Bizarre Magazine Featuring Yasmin, Hazel, Bailey, Jesse & Vaniity

Great article - I contacted Bizarre with press release and inviting them to the Tranny Awards hoping to get some press. They'd already been in touch with Bailey Jay for another project so this tied them in together and they produced an excellent article which was much larger than I'd expected.

I was asked for a list of models that I had contact details on who may be interested in interviewing with them and I put forward Amy, Hazel, Jesse, Morgan and Domino, mainly as they were all California based, stars and appropriate to their article. They were our guests at the awards and actually they came out on the Thurs night also and had a blast - which is where I introduced them to Yasmin Lee, who I think is one of the biggest stars and they brought her on. Vaniity of course was un-missable at the Tranny Awards and a great choice.
I think the five they chose, represent a good selection of our industry. It would have been nice to see some other girls, Amy, Morgan, Domino, Mia I, Nataliaa Coxxx (another I put forward) as well as maybe an up and comer (I suggested Britney St.Jordan as she's got that Alt. look) but considering our industry and girls got 6 page full colour in a large circulating magazine, I don't think they could stretch to much more - and having a full page on 5 invidual girl is better than a snippet on 15 girls.

The good news is, I am working with them on some future projects, we have a lot more media interested in The Tranny Awards for next year AND we're working with a PR expect to try and reach more mainstream areas.

Why would they be banned? They are in the Adult Entertainment business after all.:confused:

They are not exactly banned - that was a bit of a mis-quote.
They are now allowed to pick up their award from stage but the Best Male Performer and Best Female Performers can. AVN say that some of the other awards cannot pick it up either but given the size of our niche and the fact, that this is the BEST of our niche, it's pitiful that they cannot see through that?

I've found the "old school" adult industry to be pretty closeminded and run by some pretty insidious individuals (I'm not talking about AVN here but mainly distributors). These were the guys at the forefront of the VHS revolution and producing porn for the masses
The "new school" which was brought about by the internet revolution is more creative-business types and far more accepting and open-minded.

I think that is the case with many businesses, not just the adult industry. The "old guard" are set in their ways and they do not suffer change gladly and will kick and scream to get their way.

I think the reason the internet revolution is more open-minded is that a lot of the sites(I'm not sure the exact number) are owned by the women themselves. For example, Bailey Jay owns her site and therefore has a lot of input as to what gets used and how the videos and site content are laid out.
