Soon I will close this thread, since the OP doesn't seem to want to respond to his warning about the UNGENDERING language.

I think Bionca put some worthwhile perspective on this, particularly because she is NOT a moderator on whom it seems it is incumbent to be the guardian of Transgender terminology.

The offence was one of insensitivity and sheer carelessness - and of ignorance which ( presumably ) has now been corrected, albeit in somewhat strong terms.

I did not state that as a fact. Just my personal observation of my interactions with other members. My memory does not seem to recall any other members that have made known their yummy gingerness either through posts or avatar pics. Hence the, "I think".
